2024 Campaign Chair
Dear Friends,
Firstly, thank you to all who work so diligently at the United Way of Putnam County. This year marks the 48th Anniversary of the United Way of Putnam County. We cannot thank our Partner Agencies, local businesses, and volunteers enough for their decades of generous support. Thanks also to our predecessors, whose drive, determination, and devotion to Putnam County helped set up this enduring organization.
I believe in the programs that are offered at the United Way of Putnam County. One, however, is very dear to my heart. Reading to young children is fundamentally important to helping them build their vocabulary and explore the world beyond their wildest imaginations. The Imagination Library is an important resource for children ages from birth to 5. This program is free to sign up for. I have been a firm believer since childhood that reading books is the perfect way to spend time.
As we begin our 2024 campaign, we will continue to follow the tradition of “Working United, Giving United, and Living United”.
We will “Work United” with our Board Members and volunteers, effectively allocating your donations and managing the Imagination Library, Back-to-School Giveaway, and Fighting Hunger programs.
We will “Give United” by honoring our pledge that 100% STAYS LOCAL. You can remain confident that Putnam County residents will benefit from your contribution.
Most importantly, we will “Live United” by supporting our Partner Agencies to serve friends and neighbors.
The United Way of Putnam County is vital in many of our lives. You can be assured that your involvement and support of the annual United Way Campaign is changing lives every day.
We invite you to show your support for United Way by making a gift to the 2024 campaign.
So, join us as we celebrate 48 years of “Living and Giving” United in Putnam County.
